The President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and former chief minister has tendered his resignation from party positions.

According to the details, the PTI leader stated that he had already expressed condemnation for the attacks on military installations that took place on May 9 following the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan.

Pervez Khattak mentioned that he will consult with his colleagues to determine his future plans. He strongly believed that the events of May 9 were detrimental to the country and should never be repeated.

Recognizing the challenges of maintaining a party position, Pervez Khattak announced his resignation from the role of PTI KP President.

In a separate development, PTI leader Amir Bakhsh Bhutto, along with Allah Bux Unar and their companions, have also decided to part ways with the party.

During an interaction with journalists, Amir Bakhsh Bhutto condemned the incidents of May 9 and categorized the attacks on military installations as acts of terrorism. He stated that he had already withdrawn from participating in politics.

Furthermore, it is important to note that Asad Qaiser and Pervez Khattak were arrested today in the federal capital and subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
